Overall the trails are inconsistent in rating levels, partially due to work being done all over the park it seems. The group had their own trail leaders so we had no issues with trail finding while part of that group, however I believe that without that, some of the way finding could have been a challenge at some critical points (like from the top of the Wildcat mountain where I did not see trail signs).

We were there for a couple of days with a group of 100 or so full size 4x4s. Lots of families here and lots of tent camping spaces as well. Park is open Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and if you are a member you can come in on the days that they are closed. I did notice today that they had planted trees down there, so clearly they are working to make the park better all the time. The a campground with 50 amp service has sites a bit closer together without as many big trees. We are staying with the 30 amp service and there are plenty of big trees around. They have two campgrounds, one with 50 amp service and full hook ups and one with 30 amp service and no hook ups. This is our first time staying in the campground and it is nice. The staff has been very helpful, and the grounds are well-kept. Fortunately we are smart enough to turn around if a trail seems to be more challenging than what we are up for or that our experience level dictates. My only complaint would be that some of the trails they rate as a 3 diamond Trail are considerably more difficult than some that are rated as one and two diamonds. Some of them are super easy all the way up to expert level. The trails are plentiful and we’ve been here several times and still managed to find new trails to ride. There are trails for motorcycles, ATVs/UTVs, and full size 4x4’s. They are constantly improving signage, accessibility, and facilities. We just renewed after a six-month lapse, and when we came back we found the park was better than ever. We got a membership for six months when we first got our ATVs.

We will continue to ride Hidden Falls as much as we can. The staff for the most part has always been helpful and friendly, (Everyone has a bad day from time to time), We had some booking issues around a major holiday and they helped us out and made sure we had a place to camp. If you like a wild night of partying and riding, this is not a park for you. Hidden Falls is a family oriented park, with night riding shutting down at Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. We have stayed in all 3 RV sites (electric only and A & Zips Corner full hookups), we have also tent camped and always been happy. Bath houses are clean, Bunk Houses are nice (but bring twin size air mattresses). We have taken many friends that have never been off-roading to groups that are ready to ride the roughest there is. The park has done a great job of keeping up with the times and seem to make improvements all the time.

Because of scheduling we get to Hidden Falls 5-6 times a year. My family and friends have been coming to the park since 2010. We have been twice and will be going as many times as my wife lets me. It was 20 minutes before the park closed and there were a total of 10 people in the entire area. However, how do you get upset on a zero tolerance helmet policy. Park Ranger stopped her and told her to walk back to the RV to get a helmet (I had to chuckle because I told her not to worry about it). I had already packed the helmets, and I could literally see her the entire 200 yard trek (and she is a very experienced). The only negative thing I could MAYBE say is that we were loading up and I asked my 12 year old daughter to ride over to the dumpster to throw out the trash. Get lost - that's the point, but call ahead if you are going to travel. The rest should be free range open riding.

You are supposed to limit your interaction with staff to the 10 second entry visit, and maybe to buy a T-Shirt. They have comments like: Staff was rude, nobody came and found me, we almost died, park was at capacity, etc. I never leave reviews, but I am reading through the negative reviews, and I am absolutely amazed.
